The Process: Scenario B
Constraints
The Board of Directors has stated that the number of toys produced must be more than the number of stuffed animals.
The machines to make the products are available for up to a total of 200 hours. Every toy will take 20 hours and every animal will take 30 hours of machine time to produce.
The company’s production for the making of the two products must also abide by the constraint 20x + 30y ≥ 150 due to time constraints, where x stands for the number of stuffed animals and y stands for the number of toys.
The company cannot produce less than zero stuffed animals or toys.
